Glass Coat of Arms Ferdinand IIReplica Size: Replica: glass, mouth blown, hand painted, H. ca. 16.5 cm
The glass shows the coat of arms as well as the inscription which you can see on the heraldic stained glass panel donated by Archduke Ferdinand II of Tyrol in 1574. This glass panel was probably made for the Holy Blood Chapel of St Oswald Church in Seefeld.
The German Inscription reads: "Ferdinannd Von Gottes Genaden Ertzhertz=/og zu Österreich Hertzog zu Burgundi zu / Steÿr Kärendten Craÿn Vnd Würtemberg / Gefürsster Graf zu Tÿrol Vnd Habspurg".
