Great helm with crest

This splendid pin depicts a very special object from the Imperial Armoury - the unique Great helm with crest. Manufactured about 1350 by an unknown master, this spectacular helm belonged most likely to Albert von Prankh and was used for tournaments. The helm with its crest inspired by buffalo horns is a one-of-a-kind piece and only one other helmet like this survived trough the years. You can now decorate your bag or jacket with this special pin and add it to your pin collection.
