Nannette Streicher (1769-1833) was considered a prominent piano builder throughout her life. Already with only 27 she was beside Johann Schantz and Anton Walter the third great master of piano building in Vienna. One fortepiano by Nannette Streicher of 1813 - a gift of Bösendorfer company to the Kunsthistorisches Museum Vienna - was recently restored and made playable again.
Ines Schüttengruber presents this fortepiano with music from the time of its creation on this CD.
