Lekythos: Lion and Panther

In Antiquity the term "Lekythos" was used to denote any kind of ceramic vessel used for anointing oil. Today it is restricted to small vessels, that can be either long and thin, or short and squat but which have only one handle. This example shows a lion and a panther.
