Drip Pearl

Pearls have been sought-after treasures for thousands of years, especially from the 16th century onwards, the portraits of aristocratic ladies show the penchant for pearl jewellery. Also Archduchess Maria Anna (1610-1665), Electress of Bavaria appreciated pearls as you can see on her portrait. Drop shaped pearl earrings like the offered one were considered a "must have".
