Isabella d’Este

As one of the greatest female art patrons in history, Isabella d'Este transformed the Mantuan court into a centre of the most eminent Renaissance scholars and artists. Among other things, she was also a fashion trendsetter and allowed Titian to paint her portrait twice in the 1530’s. In this painting Titian depicted the by now sixty-year-old marchioness as a dazzlingly beautiful and elegant twenty-year-old.
This majestic portrait is now perpetuated on this elaborate silk scarf as well and everybody can adorn oneself with her beauty. As a special feature a detail of Isabella's clothes was printed on the other side of the scarf, so you can wrap in her fur and wear the smooth scarf in a lot of combinations and variations.
