This colourful scarf is printed with details taken from one of the most important objects of the Weltmuseum Wien.
The magnificient Aztec Quetzal feathered headdress is the only existing one and consists of hundreds of long Quetzal-feathers and more than thousand golden ornaments. The feather artwork was recorded for the first time in 1596 in the inventory of the Cabinets of Art and Curiosities in the Ambras Castle. How it got there is unknown and about the function of this ancient Mexican artwork are also just existing a few interpretations.
