Marble Floor

This exclusive enamel pin features a detail of the marble floor of the Kunsthistorisches Museum Vienna. In 1891 the Kunsthistorisches Museum was opened to the public. For the interior the most valuable materials and artistic skills were used to create a precious setting to present the works of art. The floor decorated with intarsia in black and white marble was the inspiration for the design of this pin.
