Bee of Ephesus

This sealing wax set draws on one of the most recognisable emblems of the ancient city of Ephesus: the bee, closely linked to the goddess Artemis and ranked among the most celebrated motifs of ancient Greek coinage. The seal stamp, finely detailed with the bee motif, turns letters, cards, or gift wrapping into small works of art, adding a personal, history-inspired touch. The set is ideal for anyone who enjoys the tradition of letter-sealing, or who wants to give invitations and gifts a distinctive finishing touch.Whether as an engaging hobby set, a decorative desk item, or a gift for lovers of ancient history, the sealing wax set is a fitting memento of the ancient collections at the Kunsthistorisches Museum Vienna.
